I’m a journalist based in the town of Malmö in south Sweden. Currently, I work as an university lecturer in journalism at Lund University. From 1 January 2016 I’m the program director of the School of Journalism.
I also work as a freelance journalist. If you want to discuss about journalism or future assignments – don’t hesitate to contact me.
My area of coverage has until today been centered around Southeast Asia. I have written a number of stories, reportages and news articles from this region. My texts and pictures have been published in newspaper and magazine such as Dagens Nyheter, Sydsvenskan, Dagens Industri, Aftonbladet, Metro, Filter, ETC, Fria Tidningar, Hufvudstadsbladet, UNT, Tidningen Kupé, Västervikstidningen and Gotlands Tidningar.
I also have experiences from lecturing about the global media landscape, press ethics and about how to reach out in a complex media landscape. I have some knowledge and experiences from the Indian and Vietnamese media landscape that I sometimes lecture about.
From 2015 I’m also the project coordinator for the Sweden-South Asia Media Project that aims to connect journalists and media researchers from the South Asian region and Sweden. Together we create a forum where we discuss future challenges in the digitalized media context.
